May I suggest Karl Taylor’s youtube for suggestions on use of both Polarizing and ND Filters while shooting seascapes? He ends up using a polarizing and covers it with an ND .9 (neutral density). This requires changing the stop by 5, 30 second exposure time, at f16 for an overcast sky.
