is it good for HDR?
February 7, 2010 - 5:55 am
no , at my country it cost atleast RM4000 ($1200)
so i saved much for this camera
February 7, 2010 - 6:51 am
Would you like to explain that futher?
Did you save money by not buying it at all, or by bying it instead of a more expensive one? ^^
February 7, 2010 - 7:25 am
Great , after atleast 10min watching this , you encourage me to save atleast $1.2k

I think if youre in the price range of those 2 you might be better off going with a d5000. I do believe it records video. Ive got the d90 and I love it. The d90 might be a bit more but has tons more features and also can use almost all modern nikon AF lenses. The d3000 uses AF-s lense which has the focus motor built into the lens. the d90 has the focus motor built into the camera as well as can use the af-s lenses.

February 7, 2010 - 2:51 pm
I recomend Sigma 18-200. Its a good alround objektive to take pictures and get the whole family in one pic,and it have a good zoom.Nikkor 18-200 is more ekspensive, and the sigma objektive is almost as good as Nikkor…..
February 7, 2010 - 3:19 pm
yeah really good indeed
thanks a lot
hehe
February 7, 2010 - 4:12 pm
So good light a enjoy your little Nikon family;)
February 7, 2010 - 4:19 pm
thanks for the input, appreciated
however i’ve already purchased the D5000 and been trying it out for a couple of days
also, though i wasnt clear on that matter, is that i was only interested in the D5000 for its hd vid function – already got a D80 för photography – and so far i like the D5000 vid functions
cheers

@cinexstudios The main difference is better handling, more controls(2 rollers) and AF motor, so you can use(autofocusing) none AF-S lenses, which is for example favourite Nikkor 50/1,8.

Hi!. I wanted to do a question . Im about to buy the D90 , I think its a very good choice. But Im not sure of what lense to buy . As soon as I get the camera Im participating in this proyect , involving photoshoots , and I wanted to know what lense I should buy. That will be able to use in the photoshoots and after as well . and thats not THAT expensive. Ok , thank you
